Linda, John, Mark and Lucy M. haben die Pension PERFEKT beschrieben (s. weiter unten). Alle dort erwähnten Aspekte sind wahr, wir können es nur bekräftigen. Was uns aber besonders gut gefallen hat, ist die hervorragende Küche. Die Gerichte, die für uns jeden Abend aufgetischt wurden, sind alle, ohne Ausnahme 5 Sterne Plus! Internationale und slowenische Küche waren gleich "vertreten", perfekt im Geschmack, Vielfältigkeit und Dekoration. Die Pension Stare ist absolut empfehlenswert, egal ob für einen kurzen oder längeren Aufenthalt!!!!! Schöne Grüße aus München. Wir freuen uns jetzt schon auf einen nächsten Urlaub bei Ihnen. I would like to share my and my family’s impressions (me, my wife and two kids at the age of 9 and 14 years) with the visitors of the webpage Hotel Pension Stare. Recently we came back from the holidays in Slovenia. We visited some destinations and stayed in Hotel – Pension Stare near the Bohinj Lake. I must say right away that we were really impressed by the location of the hotel, surroundings, the lake, and especially by the kind and helpful owners of the Hotel – Pension Stare. We chose the Hotel – Pension Stare on the recommendation of our friends who have stayed in the hotel many times. Before the departure we wanted to gather some more information on the place and the hotel; therefore we visited their homepage, which we liked very much. The homepage is clear-cut, useful and offers a lot of beneficial information. On the page we found also all the necessary information on the preparations for the holidays. I recommend the Hotel – Pension Stare homepage to all who intend to visit Bohinj. On the page you will obtain a lot of extensive information on the hotel offer, organized activities in the vicinity, suggestions for the trips, various sports activities and more. Also the hotel guest book that you find on their homepage was in great help. We booked the room online, on the hotel homepage. The response was quick and professional. The hotel owner arranged for us the transfer from the airport to the hotel. A friendly driver expected us at the airport in Slovenia (Ljubljana). The start was good and the feelings were great. In one hour we arrived to the hotel and went to a family room with the view of the lake. Me and my wife got a welcome drink, a bilberry brandy, and the kids were offered tea, juice and cookies. The major part of the holidays we spent actively: I angled, my wife was in the mountains and in wellness centres and the kids took part in horseback riding and various sports activities. We were especially excited about the cycling in the wonderful vicinity of the Hotel Stare and to the waterfall Savica (we rented the bikes from the Hotel – Pension Stare). During our two-week stay in Slovenia we visited also the Postojna cave, the coastal region and the city of Piran and saw a special bread of horses called Lipizzaner. The hotel owner and the employed were very friendly and helpful; they advised us and helped us gladly. Mr. Stare, the hotel owner, is familiar with the surrounding hills and a keen angler. Every day he advised us which activity to choose and booked for us all sports activities, taxi, rent-a-car at a low price and trips (guided and individual). I hardly can imagine that his guest wouldn’t be satisfied with the services and hospitality. The pension is tidy and clean. It is led by the Stare family. The rooms are clean and indeed appropriate to the hotel category. The service and the kindness are enviable and create a genuine homely atmosphere. We were served also the fish from the Bohinj Lake, home-made Slovene specialities and vegetarian food. Also the wine selection is top notch. Their wine card offers the best wines of the Slovene winemakers (also the prize-winner). The price range enables everyone to afford a glass or a bottle of excellent wine. For sure also the wine connoisseurs would be satisfied with the selection of wines. The prices of the services in Hotel – Pension Stare are low and represent a good proportion between the quality and the cost. The prices of the accommodation, drink and food are comparable with the prices of the nearby hotels. In the vicinity of the hotel there are also other restaurants, a hotel with sauna, swimming pool and tennis courts. In my opinion the location of the hotel is fantastic. The unspoiled nature, piece and silence around the Bohinj Lahke are magical. In the present-day and modern world are such destinations very rare and represent a priceless treasure. I recommend it to the visitors of any age. Bohinj really offers various possibilities for relaxation, for example different sports activities, wellness, mountaineering, bathing in the lake, skiing, angling, horseback riding, cycling and more. I’m especially impressed by the location and the services of the Hotel – Pension Stare, therefore I recommend it highly. Our family was delighted and very satisfied. We will come back with joy and nice memories. I’m sure that also you will experience the beauty and come back to Bohinj with pleasure.
