To fly like a bird - this is one of man's ancient desires that has stirred and
stimulated the imagination from time immemorial. Paragliding is one of the most
beautiful and simplest ways of doing this, and is also available in Bohinj.
Experienced instructor pilots take you down to the valley, and they can also
teach you the first steps in the wonderful world of flying. Join us!
Paragliding courses
The course consists of a theoretical and practical parts and lasts 5 days (15 to
20 lessons), with each participant performing about 20 flights at a height of 30
to 150 meters. The duration of the course is flexible, the intensity of work is
adapted to the weather, and also depends on the physical fitness of
participants. After going through the program and passing the final exam, each
participant receives a diploma and an L-category pilot certificate. School
field: Kobla.
It is designed for all who wish to get acquainted with paragliding. The course
includes 3 to 4 lessons in the school field, and participants get to learn the
basics of paragliding and perform 2 to 3 flights, from 20 to 40 meters long.
An instructor pilot takes you safely from one of the summits of Bohinj into the
valley. Usual take-off spots: Vogar, Vogel.
Dates
July and August every day, if possible, otherwise at weekends,
holidays and by arrangement.
Equipment required
Magic school parachutes, school flying belts, helmets - all
provided by the organizers, rental included in the cost of the programs.
