This beautiful Ski Resort lying in the midst of extensive coniferous forests is a Cross-country skiing paradise. Some of the remarkable natural features of the Pokljuka plateau (1300 m), situated within the Triglav National Park, are high mountain pastures abounding in rare plant species, vast forests, and pleasant walking paths (with no steep ascents) leading to the peaks of Visevnik and Lipanjski vrh. Other delightful experiences to be had while hiking through these vast forests filled with fresh mountain air include mushroom-picking and wild-berry picking.
